Jack Kadis

Instructor

Bio: I am a 76 year old man who has had no formal photography training other than 2 weekend view camera workshops, one in 1970 and one in 2000. I am also a person who has a passionate commitment to B&W photography that has lasted for more than half a century. It started in 1968 when I first saw an image emerge after placing a white sheet of paper in a tray of colorless liquid. The process never got never got old for me. I have worked in every B&W format from 35mm to 5X7 view cameras. My prints are represented in the collections of Stanford University’s Cantor Center for the Arts and Cassilhaus.
